How to play in 5 easy steps!
1. Open the box to reveal your evidence pack. Read the mystery and follow the instructions from Detective Inspector George White.
2. Open Envelope 1 to discover crucial clues.
3. Examine the witness statements, forensics, QR clues, crime scene photos etc. to solve the first task.
4. Work through the remaining envelopes, uncovering more clues with each one, until you are ready to solve the whole mystery.
5. Listen to the confession. Pat yourself on the back!
What you will need:
• A flat surface; table, floor, ironing board… whatever works for you.
• A smartphone or similar device capable of scanning QR codes. You can’t play in airplane mode. If you are on a plane, you’ll probably find your tray table is insufficient for evidence‑sorting anyway.
• A few hours. Timings may vary wildly depending on tea breaks, arguments, and whether anyone insists on reading clues aloud in a dramatic voice. Solve the mystery in under an hour and George White may ask you to join the force. He’s desperate. He’s running on instant coffee, tuna sandwiches, custard creams, and sheer hope…
